FAQ's

A fitness club for children between the ages of 3–10 yrs. We create a healthy, active child for life through fun fitness games and activities. We teach children the basic blocks of fitness which gives them the lifelong skills to want to stay healthy and active. We also teach the importance of healthy nutrition and why they need to balance screen time with daily physical activity to keep their body and minds happy, healthy, strong and working at their best.

We work on different fitness disciplines each week, such as……

Healthy heart training- where we perform cardiovascular activities to raise the heart rate and make children stronger. Stronger muscles make for a more efficient and healthy body.

Strength- A strength exercise is any activity that makes your muscles work harder than usual.The activities involve using your body weight or working against a resistance. (We use very light resistance bands in some of the activities we do with Coyote Fit Crew for 7-10 yrs).

Balance- is the ability to stay upright or stay in control of body movement.

Fine and Gross Motor Skills- Gross motor skills are involved in movement and coordination of the arms, legs, and other large body parts and movements. They involve actions such as running, crawling and swimming. Fine motor skills are involved in smaller movements that occur in the wrists, hands, fingers, feet and toes.

Flexibilty-Is the quality of bending easily without breaking. We perform various stretches and yoga poses at the end of each class to improve our flexibility

Yes, you do not need any particular sporting skills to be able to take part in this class, you just need to be stable on your feet.

No, your child does not need to be fit, we will help improve their fitness levels through carefully planned sessions suitable for all levels, and will ignite their love of staying healthy and active.

Your children will need to wear comfortable clothing and footwear, such as shorts, t-shirts, trainers, plimsolls, or leggings. Although we have Coyote Kids Fit Club t-shirts you can purchase, they are not compulsory.

Please bring a filled water bottle to every session, as there are sufficient water breaks throughout. It is important the children stay hydrated.

Yes, we offer one free taster session for every child that would like to try Coyote Kids Fit Club.

Sessions are paid monthly on a Coyote membership basis where you are guaranteed a place every week at our face to face sessions. We run our sessions throughout the year with a 2 week break over Christmas.  You only need to give us one months notice of cancellation too, so you are in complete control of your membership via our website. Our monthly membership fee’s range from £6 for online content only to £30 for online content and one weekly session at one of our venues near you, plus extra discounts on parties and merchandise. Parents, carers and guardians are only expected to stay for the Preschool/Toddler sessions, all other sessions parents, carers or guardians are able to leave the premises as long as they return promptly at the end of the class. Please arrive on time to pick up your child as we are often needing to travel to other venues for other Coyote Kids Fit Club and Coyote Fit Crew sessions.

Yes, we are fully qualified in children fitness, fully insured, hold our own music licenses and DBS clearances. These are available for you to see at every class. Your children are safe with the Coyote Crew.

Yes, each 45 min session costs £125.00 for a maximum of 15 children. Each additional child is £5 each. We require a small deposit upfront to secure your party. Please get in touch to book or discuss your requirements or check out our PARTIES page for more information.
